This final semester in the Natal Studies Module focuses on helping students perfect their knowledge of the techniques learned throughout these classes. The last weeks are devoted to integration of the material learned so far in preparation for the important semester final.

During this semester, students will practice their skills in delineating natal charts. This Course is invaluable because it provides immediate feedback from the instructor--something that is essential to helping students gain confidence in their synthesis skills. It promises to be fun as well as a great learning experience.

Class Meeting 1: Chart Themes

This week is dedicated to an overview of the 12 basic Archetypes. The focus is on developing a working definition of the Archetypes and exploring the communication of this phenomenon to clients. The students will also be asked to look for the footprints of the Archetypes in their study charts and in their homework they will explore how to find and delineate them. We will also examine the 'Law of Three’ and how important horoscopic themes repeat themselves through the chart's symbol structure. We will train the inner eye to alight on these important themes as we consider how to communicate them simply within a gamut of archetypal expression. Delineating these themes in their own horoscope, the students will enhance the process and challenge of delineation in other’s charts.

Class Meeting 2: Mystery Chart 1

During this week we examine techniques for integrating and synthesizing the archetypal messages gleaned from the chart symbolism. We relate these symbols back to what we learned about the 'Rule of Three,' and consider these implications within the framework of hemisphere emphasis, Sun-Moon-Ascendant combination, Element balance, Dispositorship Mapping, and Rulership Flow. This study will be a preparation for the techniques used with the Mystery Chart presented this week:Saint or Sinner? Here we analyze how our astrological eye flows over the chart and forms its important initial impression. How open can we be to unanticipated variations? How can we grasp the gamut of 'choice' from the perspective of the native? How do we personally define "Good" and "Evil"? How does that affect how we see the chart?

Class Meeting 4: Mystery Chart 2

Conscious or Unconscious? What is the essence of "Consciousness" for us personally? How can we anticipate what will be conscious and what will be strongly affecting, yet unconscious, dynamics of the individual in question? This week will cover the all-important issues revolving around what we're conscious of and how important themes slip into unconsciousness. We will also touch upon how we communicate this, to ourselves, to our loved ones, to our clients.

This week is a further discussion of points covered last week in the context of the assigned Mystery Chart.

Class Meeting 6: Mystery Chart 3

Polarities and Antagonists. This week will cover what creates tension, its advantages and its disadvantages. How can we get a handle on this through the horoscope? Activity and Passivity, Concentration and De-Concentration, Self and Other, The Carrot and the Whip, Subject and Object, Reflexive Instinct/Spontaneity and Thought-out Response/Modulated Action, and many other polarities will be discussed appropriate to the chart and the issues that arise. Are these antagonisms integrated? How can consciousness of them help integration?

Class Meeting 8: Mystery Chart 4 & Discussion

The Shadow. "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men." What is the psychological shadow? What are our own shadow issues? What is the symbolism of it in the horoscope? This week will focus on the darker potential in us all. Prepare for deep personal transformation here. It is said that you cannot take a client where you, yourself, have not been. On the entrance to the Oracle at Delphi were written the words, "Know Thyself!" The Mystery Chart for this week will speak to these themes and all those discussed thus far.
