4 Class Meetings
Learn to step through the many factors of data to correctly rectify and identify a birth time when it is unknown or questionable. You will learn how to approach the project with inquiry and to filter the most important information in a systematic way. This course is not required for graduation but available to those who want to include rectification in their professional practice.
Class Meeting 1: Process of Inquiry
We begin our discussion with how to gather information from the client and decide how that information points you in the right direction. The foundations of the process of rectifying a chart involve good critical thinking and the ability to identify the intrinsic qualities of the astrology in the client’s self-description and life experiences.
Class Meeting 2: Sorting Techniques
The right techniques for the process will cut through mountains of astrological factors. This class will focus on the variety of techniques available and their application in searching for the correct birth time. You will learn which factors give you the results you are looking for.
Class Meeting 3: Matching Astrology and Events
The proof of good timing is in the logical match up of astrological events shown through several techniques. We will learn to sort and filter the factors of highest priority. Case studies from the required text book will be used in class.
Class Meeting 4: Proof and Summary
This class addresses the proof of events and writing clear defense summaries of your final answer. The homework for this week will be the final exam for the course.
