Class Meeting 1: The History of Feminism and the Effect on Modern Astrology

In order to understand the basic concepts of Goddess Astrology or the Feminine Aspect in astrology, one must have a robust understanding of the development of the feminist movement starting in the later 1700’s. In this class we take a look at the history of feminism and how that began to reflect in astronomy and ultimately modern day astrology. We will look at important astrological transits that mirrored important historical events, which have led to modern day concepts of the feminine. In this class we will investigate an in-depth discovery of each Goddess Asteroid and Dwarf Planet, as well the astronomers who discovered these ladies.

Today we will discuss the importance of the mother archetype in astrology and the role of food, grief, and survival when we observe Ceres. We will dive deep into her history and significantly we will look at her presence in the chart using real-life examples.

Class Meeting 3: Athena “Daddy’s Girl”

In this class, we will look at the concept of the Daddy’s Girl archetype and the importance of the development of masculinity and wisdom for women. We will go more into Athena's history, her role in mythology and then ultimately we will look at her presence in the chart using real-life examples.
