Chris McRae, CAP: Guest Lecturer / Pocket Course Instructor

Chris McRae, ISAR.CAP, NCGR.CA, PMAFA, is an internationally acclaimed professional astrologer living in Edmonton, Canada. She has a lively consulting practice both in Edmonton and abroad, with a large client base and has been teaching locally since 1970. For many years, Chris has been lecturing widely in at least a dozen different countries conducting workshops for astrological organizations, teaching ISAR Consulting Skills, and appearing on the faculty of the most prestigious astrological conferences worldwide.In 1982 she received the FCA Astrological Hall of Fame

Uranus award for "Innovative Ideas and Outreach Nationally and Internationally". In 2012 she received the UAC Regulus Award for Professional Image and in 2014-16, upon ISAR Board retirement she received a Life-Time Achievement Award and Service/Leadership Award.

From 1972-1982 she taught a six-semester course at Grant MacEwan College which was the first college in North America to include Astrology in its Adult Extension Department and still continues teaching a 3 year semester structured course in person.

She founded, was President many times, and is now Honorary Life President of the Edmonton Astrological Society; has served on the Board of Directors of the AFA, AFAN, UAC, and retired Vice-President of ISAR, as well as past Coordinator of ISAR Certification program which she held for 16 years. To date she has published three books, The Geodetic World Map, Understanding Interceptions; Geodetic Astrology for Relocation and World Events, as well as being contributing author in 5 others. In 2018 she sent a new book to the publisher called Great Conjunctions and Shifting Times.

Her earlier career was in broadcasting and television production.
