Conjunction

1. An aspect in which two points are close enough so that their energies join. It is a major aspect, which can be either harmonious or inharmonious, depending upon the natures of the planets involved, and is sometimes called the "aspect of prominence" because it brings the planets involved into prominence in a chart.

2. In addition to the Ptolemaic aspect, an astronomical configuration where two celestial bodies align from Earth's perspective.
