Fixed Stars

The stars of the constellations and all stars we cannot see that never change position on the Celestial Sphere. They may be at varied light years distance, but all appear to be the same distance, attached to the Celestial Sphere. The expression fixed stars originally devised to distinguish them from the the so-called 'wandering stars' or planets as we know them. Many of the fixed stars are regarded as having an astrological influence, especially if they are in conjunction with a natal planet or sensitive point in the chart
