Weekly Practice Astrological Group – June, with Elena Lumen
This practice class is designed to enhance students’ practical skills and develop deeper understanding of astrological technique under the guidance of an experienced western astrologer. Students are encouraged to bring their questions or the astrological charts they are working on for the group study and discussion.
The instructor, Elena Lumen, is a traditionally trained western astrologer who specializes in horary and electional astrology. This group is open to both modern and traditional western astrologers, looking to build the skills and find deeper meaning in the astrological symbolism in a collaborative group environment. For each group we will discuss charts proposed by the students, or case studies from the instructors’ case file.
Series of three classes: June 5, 12, & 19
The lectures will be recorded, and all registrants will receive a link to the recording, whether or not they attend.

Elena LumenInstructor
Elena Lumen, PhD, is a traditional astrologer, counselor, and teacher. She has successfully trained dozens of students in traditional horary and electional astrology since 2015, and is a frequent presenter for the leading astrological organizations, such as ISAR, NCGR, AFAN, and others.
In 2011, she completed her dissertation on the value and appeal of astrology for the process of finding meaning at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in California. She currently combines astrology, counseling, and spiritual guidance in her work with clients.
Dr Lumen is a retired psychologist with over a decade of experience in trauma therapy and art-therapy. She has been teaching astrology online since 2015 at Kepler college, and at IAA since 2018.
Dr Lumen’s students appreciate her for professional depth, excellent material organization, and supportive atmosphere in her classes, and multiple practice groups. She is one of the leading specialists in horary, electional, and predictive traditional astrology.
